New Trans Am?

Yes! There is a new trans am available from the folks at Trans Am Depot. Also, YES there is THE BANDIT edition. Check out the video here.These are limited edition builds, only 77 made. Obviously built around the Chevy Camaro platform, but that is consistent with the original Trans Am which shared the Chevy Camaro platform. What is a huge departure from the original is a dramatic increase in Horsepower! The 1977 Trans Am that was used in the Smokey and the Bandit franchise did not even reach 200hp. This recent release boasts an incredible 840hp!!?? Of course, in the 70s, fuel rationing suddenly made "horsepower" a bad word, so many cars were under rated, or purposefully made a bit anemic so as not to alert any one that a car might be a gas hog. So get out there and buy one before they are all gone! Take the "T" tops out and let the wind be your friend!
